This project was created for the Lulus target customer, female ages 17-29, trendy, on budget, and young working professional, who prefers feminine styles. Spring 2020 is the season that focuses on one piece garments including a romper, jumpsuit, maxi dress, midi dress, and a mini dress. All pieces focuses on Lulus large variety of dresses that they sell to their consumers. There are 5 different styles that each come in 3 colorways making 15 collective garments. Lulus is an E-commerce only company.

Lulus Homepage

In our product assortment we wanted to have a range of different styles that represented Lulus. We incorporated styles that consisted of rompers, jumpsuits, midi, mini, and maxi dresses that were fun and girly. These styles all varied from their typical category and had trims such as playful ruffles to distinguish their standard look. Our size range was XXS through XL which is what Lulus currently provides to its customers. The product assortment were going to be produced from fibers such as cotton, rayon, and polyester. These fibers allow for the dresses to be comfortable and affordable to the Lulus consumer.

Concept board:

We wanted to stay true to the brand and incorporate pastels along with bright colors. The signature floral pattern of Lulus was to be represented throughout. The concept of the board is a botanical summer lifestyle, and the theme would be a nature inspired aesthetic. As seen in the concept board, the textures and colors used creates a complete summer mood. The yellows, greens, and pops of color such as reds and blues reminds you of a warm summer day in a beautiful garden surrounded by breathtaking flowers. Lulus as a brand represents a carefree, lively brand image. The patterns used are what identify Lulus and represents the culture of their consumer.
